By accessing or using Dr. Zen AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the service.
1. Service Description
Dr. Zen AI is a mental wellness companion application that provides:
- AI-powered conversational support
- Mood tracking and visualization
- Voice interaction features
- Wellness insights and trends
Important Medical Disclaimer
Dr. Zen AI is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app is intended for general wellness support only. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a mental health professional immediately.
2. Eligibility
To use Dr. Zen AI, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old
- Have parental consent if under 18
- Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. AI Services & Limitations
4.1 AI Consent
By using AI chat features, you acknowledge and consent to:
- Your messages being processed by third-party AI services (OpenAI)
- AI-generated responses that may not always be accurate
- Data processing as described in our Privacy Policy
AI Response Limitations
- AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors
- AI is not a licensed therapist or medical professional
- AI cannot diagnose conditions or prescribe treatments
- AI responses should not be relied upon for medical decisions
4.2 Reporting AI Issues
You can report inappropriate AI responses through the in-app reporting feature. We review all reports and take appropriate action.
4.3 Usage Limits
- Free users: 2 AI responses per day
- VIP subscribers: 1000 AI responses per day
- Limits reset daily at midnight UTC
5. Subscriptions & Payments
5.1 Free Tier
The free tier includes basic mood tracking and limited AI chat responses per day.
5.2 VIP Subscription
VIP subscriptions provide extended AI response limits, voice chat, advanced insights, priority support, and an ad-free experience.
5.3 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal
- Refunds are handled by the respective app store
6. User Conduct
6.1 Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with the service's operation
- Transmit viruses or malicious code
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use automated systems to access the service
- Circumvent usage limits or restrictions
6.2 Prohibited Content
You may not submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, promotes violence or self-harm, contains hate speech, or infringes intellectual property rights.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create (mood entries, messages). By using our service, you grant us a license to store and process your content to provide the service.
8. Intellectual Property
Dr. Zen AI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Disclaimers
Service Provided "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The service is free of viruses or harmful components
- AI responses will be accurate or appropriate
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Service interruption or data loss
- Actions taken based on AI responses
- Third-party actions or content
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by using the in-app deletion feature, contacting support, or using our account deletion page.
11.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, your use poses a security risk, we are required by law, or your account is inactive for extended periods.
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases and we may delete your data after a 30-day grace period.
